Acessory Nipples
Accessory nipple or supernumerary nipple is a common congenital malformation that comprises of nipples and/or related tissues apart from the two nipples that normally appear on the chest. Accessory nipple is situated along the embryonic milk line. The ectopic accessory nipples are located beyond the embryonic milk line. This milk line is the potentially visible breast tissue observed in many mammals. The embryonic milk line in humans extends bilaterally from one point just near the axillae on the arms and goes down the chest and the abdomen. It is generally believed to end at the inner sides of the thighs although accessory nipple has been described to end on the foot.
