Allergic Vasculitis
Allergic Vasculitis refers to an acute rejoinder to an infection, drug or a foreign substance, which could result into an inflammation (swelling) and damage to the blood vessels of the skin. It is mainly caused due to allergic skin reaction to such things, and mostly prevails among patients for over 15 years. However, the exact cause of such condition is yet to be identified. Some of the known symptoms of allergic vasculitis are purple-colored patches and spots, skin lesions on the legs or buttocks, skin blisters, hive lasting for more than 24 hours, and open sores with dead cells (or necrotic ulcers).
