Chromosome

The Chromosome is a sort of an organised structure and it is a constituent of the DNA and the protein present inside the cell. It stays in a form of a coiled DNA and it also helps in controlling much of the function. The types of this organism vary from one creature to the other. There is also a variation in the structure as well. The molecule can be linear and it can also be circular and at times it is also available in form of a long chain. The Chromosome when packed with proteins forms a condensed structure and this is called the chromatin.
