Circulatory System
The circulatory system or the cardiovascular system is the system consisting of the heart, blood vessels and blood. The whole system is responsible for the transportation of blood. The cardiovascular system sends blood throughout the different organs of the body which helps the cells receive oxygen and essential nutrients. Carbon dioxide and other impurities are also eradicated from the body.In this system, the heart is the core and acts as a pump to force blood to move to different parts of the body and relaxes in order to allow blood enter its chambers. Plasma, a watery fluid consisting of proteins is one of the major components of blood. The blood also consists of white blood cells and platelets. Platelets help in blood clotting when a person suffers hemorrhage or cut.
