Clubbing Finger
Clubbing of the finger particularly denotes the changes in and around the fingernails; the phenomenon is similar in case of clubbing of toenails. The changes are visible in terms of softened nail beds instead of being tightly attached, increase in the angle of the nail making with its cuticle, reddish and bulging of the last part of the finger, and downward curving of the nail. Clubbing develops rapidly within weeks, and also withers away rapidly after treatment. Mostly caused due to heart and lung diseases reducing the oxygen level in the blood, dysentery, Graves disease, hyper thyroid gland and other cancer types, these can be treated though, as there is no particular treatment for clubbing itself.
