Common Warts

 

Scientifically termed as Verruca Vulgaris, Common Warts are known to be caused due to the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) occurring as epidermal bumps, grayish in color and shaped like a cauliflower with rough, cracked keratin surface that can be felt by the touch, on the affected individual’s hands, elbows, knees, legs, etc.  However, these epidermal projections are not carcinogenic or the precursor of any fatal disease conditions, but encourages some cosmetic tribulations that necessitate their removal. But their removal through surgery or topical application might not guarantee against relapses and the conventional line of treatment also involves scarring to some extent.
