Embryonal Carcinoma

 

Embryonal carcinoma is an abnormal growth of germ cells. These types of cancer affect anyone and are noticed in a number of forms. The malignant growth occurs when the germ cells go wild. The germ cells are unique and specially designed for the production of gametes that is useful for reproduction. Once they start behaving erratically, they form malignant growths which can contain many layers of various kinds of cells. Embryonal carcinoma in men is observed in the form of testicular cancer. This cancer can spread to various parts of the body. Women having embryonal carcinoma may be affected from dysgerminoma. The oither forms of embryonal carcinoma are choriocarcinomas, teratomas and endodermal sinus carcinoma which is more common in children.
