Facial Wart

 

Facial Wart is referred to as a particular small, rough growth appearing on the face, resembling a cauliflower or a solid blister. It is basically caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) types 2 and 7. There are almost 10 different types of HPV; the prominent ones being common warts, flat warts, filiform or digitate warts, genital warts, mosaic warts, periungual warts and plantar warts. Accordingly, there are different treatments for the removal of varying warts. Topical treatments constituting salicylic acid have given out satisfactory results with an average cure rate of 75 percent. Besides, laser therapy and cyrotherapy are also practiced for facial wart removal.
