Flat Warts
Warts refer to tiny and painless (and harmless) growths on the skin caused due to Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) types 3, 10 and 28. Amongst the varied forms of warts, flat warts are known to occur on the face, neck, arms and legs, particularly among children and less in teens and adults. Also known as Verruca plana, juvenile and plane warts, flat warts also occur around the beard area of men in some cases. At present, there are many creams and solutions available out there that successfully treats flat warts. Besides, treatments like cauterization, surgery and laser therapy are also much in vogue for flat wart removal.
