Foot Drop
A foot drop or drop foot is referred to as waning of muscles that facilitates the flexibility of ankle and toes and causes the person to drag the foot front during walking and to cover it up by bending the knee and lifting the foot at a higher level than usual. A foot drop can be tested by trying to walk on the heels. If one encounters a problem doing this, it indicates a case of foot drop. Foot drop is a neuromuscular disorder which affects muscles and nerves, but not to be mistaken as a disease. It is a symptom normally caused by a low back medical condition, and accordingly an appropriate treatment is recommended.
