Granulosa Cell Tumor
A Granulosa cell tumour which is also known as granulosa-theca cell tumour is tumours arising from granulosa cells. These types of tumours are branch of the sex cord-gonadal stromal tumour which is non-epithelial group of tumours. Though granulosa cells usually take place only in the ovary, granulosa cell tumour occurs in both ovaries as well as testicles. These tumours must be careful malignant and handled in the similar way as you take care of other malignant tumours of ovary. The staging system for these kinds of tumours is the similar to epithelial tumours. The age at which point they take place is 50 up to 55 years.
