Intraductal Papilloma

 

It is a small non-cancerous benign tumor that grows in the milk duct of thee breast. It is a tiny wart like tumor supplied with blood vessels and fibrous tissues. Sometimes it may be found in multiple forms. This is most common cause of bloody nipple discharge found in women of age in-between 20-40. The situation may lead to nipple discharge, breast pain, breast tenderness and breast swelling. As the lumps are too small to be felt or palapated,one may have its lump imaged through the ductogram(or galactogram) technique and know the condition of the tumor.
