Jessner Lymphocytic Infiltrate

 

Jessner lymphocytic infiltrate is a skin condition which is characterized by red or pink areas that appear on the neck, face or back. The skin may become reddened and itching. The area accumulated with lymph cells is not going to harm in anyway but this may even remain without any change for many years. It will fade without leaving any scar.  Surgery is not available, but there is a wide range of treatments which helps in natural recovery.  Ultraviolet light, intralesional steroid injection, hydroxychlorquine, cryotherapy, thalidomide, superficial x-ray, antibiotic therapy,  photo protection, systemic steroids, excision of small lesions and heat treatment can be done.
