Keratin Cyst
It is a type epithelial cyst containing keratin. These cysts often arise from swollen hair follicles, or skin trauma. There a sack of cells is created and keratin is secretion occurs. They are generally found in face, neck and trunks. Their nature is quite notifying; as they are painless, movable beneath the skin and slow growing. There are rare cases where a cyst has become inflamed and tender.They are prone to bacterial infection, so proper care must be taken. Diagnosis can be performed after the confirmation of a pathologist based on microscopic appearance of cystic lesion.
