Leukoderma
Leukoderma is a disease which is caused due to the lack of color pigmentation cells. Milky white patches appear on certain areas of the skin making it a chronic disease. Leukoderma is also known as Vitiligo and occurs in three different patterns in humans. Focal Leukoderma is where the de-pigmentation is restricted to one particular area only while in Segmental Leukoderma; the patches appear in one side of the body only. The most commonly occurrence of Leukoderma is the Generalized one, where the white patches appear throughout the body symmetrically. The treatment of Leukoderma varies from taking oral medications to application of ointments or lotions.
