Lichen Sclerosus

It is a long-term problem related to the skin, mostly affecting the genital and anal areas. Sometimes, this condition is seen to appear on the upper body, breasts, and upper arms. These are shiny smooth spots which later grow into bigger patches. Symptoms may include white small spots on the skin on its early stage. Itching discomfort or pain, bleeding and blisters are also symptoms seen in some cases.Though it is non-contagious, the cause is still unknown. Sometimes these patches go away with time and in some cases of men, surgical removal may be needed. Cortisone creams can be good option for itching.
