Lip and Mouth Cancer

These cancers can be combinedly called as oral cancer. Most of the mouth cancers begin in the floor of the mouth and in the tongue. Symptoms include white or red patches in mouth, mouth sore that is not healing, loose teeth, problem or pain in swallowing, bleeding in the mouth or an earache.It can be life threatening if not diagnosed or treated early. People who drink and smoke have higher risk of these cancers. It can be easily diagnosed by oral cancer screening examination. Limited exposure to sun and monthly oral examination can be useful in avoiding such cancer.
