Lip Cancer

It is a most common type of oral cancer, which is related to lips. Exposure to sun or climate that receives a great deal of sun has common chance of this disease. It occurs more often in men aged over 40. Alcohol, tobacco, human papilloma virus are also common factors which are risky and can cause lip or other oral cancers.Surgery or radiation therapy can be used for treating in early stages. For advanced stages chemotherapy or other therapies can be used. In some cases aggressive surgery can be required, which involves removing lymph nodes and other tissue from side of the neck.
