Lymphangitis
It is an inflammation of the lymph vessels infected by bacteria called streptococcus pyogenes(most common). It is also sometimes considered as blood poising. The disease may be sign that the skin infection is getting worse, which is a threat. Symptoms may be fever, headache, enlarged lymph nodes, muscle aches, loss of appetite, and pain in the affected area. Sometimes the condition is misjudged as blood clotting. Diagnosis can be performed via biopsy and culture of the affected area. The infection quickly spreads within the body, so proper care should be taken. Regular use of antibiotics may completely cure the infection.
