Oat Cell Lung Cancer
This disease is considered as one of the most malignant types of lung cancers. The name given is due to its microscopic structure. It spreads rapidly to other organs like the liver, kidney, bones especially the mandible and the nasal bones, in the affected patient. Most of the cases are linked with the larger airways (the primary and secondary bronchi), where it grows rapidly. Smokers are generally more prone to this disease. They complain of symptoms related to their respiratory organs. Because of its fast growing nature, it is difficult to cure it fully. Some physicians perform chemotherapy and radiotherapy also.
