PID

PID or the Pelvic inflammatory disease is an infection of the pelvic organs of a woman. This includes the uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix and ovaries. This is a disease which is sexually transmitted. This is mostly caused by gonorrhea or Chlamydia. Multiple sexes with different partners are the root causes of this disease and in most cases there are no symptoms for the same. In some cases vaginal discharge, pelvic pain, pain while urinating, fever and painful intercourse are basic symptoms for this pelvic disease. After a woman is infected it may take months to affect from the vagina till the pelvic organs. Sometimes the normal bacteria present in the vagina and cervix may cause this infection which has no clue regarding the reason..
