Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
It is a condition in which there is an imbalance of female sex hormones in the woman. This hormone imbalance may cause changes in the menstrual cycle and some changes in the skin changes. It is most common type of female endocrine disorders. It is an inherited genetic conition.The symptoms vary greatly among affected women, from anovulation and fertility to obesity and high cholesterol levels. The condition is often diagnosed in the age of 20s and 30s. Treatment includes the management of several disorders caused due to this disorder. A pelvic ultrasound is often suggested by the physicians for the diagnosis.
