Skin Layers
The skin is the largest ever changing organ of a human body and is made up of many structures and cells. The skin maintains the proper temperature; depict right sensation, helps in the immune system to protect the body from diseases. There are three main skin layers that form the human skin. They are Epidermis or the 1st layer, Dermis or the 2nd layer and subcutaneous tissue. The epidermis in the uppermost layer which comprises of 5 different layers like stratum corneum, stratum licidum, stratum Granulosum, stratum Spinosum and stratum basale. The topmost layer of epidermis is made up of dead cell. The dermis is made up three types of tissues and two layers. They are reticular fibers, elastic tissue, and collagen tissue, reticular and papillary layer. The connective tissue and fat forms the layer of subcutaneous tissue.
