Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a skin state in that there the brown color (pigment) is lost from arenas of the skin, resulting in unequal white patches which feel as normal skin. Vitiligo occurs when immune cells wipe out the cells which generate brown pigment (melanocytes). The destruction is considered to be because of an autoimmune crisis, but the reason is still unknown. Vitiligo is connected with further three autoimmune diseases. They are Addison’s disease, Pernicious anemia, and Hyperthyroidism. Flat arenas of normal skin devoid of any pigment come out suddenly. These arenas have darker border. Though the edges are clear, they are not regular.
