Cellulitis Recluse
Recluse cellulitis is caused as a result from the bite of a brown recluse spider. The bite from the spider damages the tissues under the skin. The venom of the recluse spider contains nine different poisonous enzymes which affect the blood vessels around the area of the bite. These enzymes cause ischemia and tissue damage, sometimes resulting into death. The symptom caused from the bite is not very painful. The person only feels mild itching and redness on the skin. This bite results into severe itching and pain later on which turns into a blister damaging the tissues underneath the skin. The tissues continue to die if left untreated.
