Eczema
Eczema is a kind of chronic skin disorder which causes itchy and scaly rashes on the skin. Atopic eczema is the commonly seen and is caused due to hypersensitivity in the skin which leads to inflammation in the skin for a long time. Eczema is usually seen in infants. Majority of the people outgrow it by the time they enter adulthood.
Those suffering from eczema experience hay fever or asthma. Some of the symptoms noticed as a result of eczema are:
• Cold or flu
• Allergies to animals, mold, pollen or dust mites
• Contact or exposure to rough materials or environmental irritants
• Exposure to water
• Dry skin
• Stress
• Addition of fragrance or dyes to soap or lotions
