Encephalitis
Encephalitis is the swelling and irritation of the brain which is caused due to infections. This is a rare condition which usually occurs in the first year of life and gradually decreases with age. The young ones or the elderly are prone to suffer from severe case. Encephalitis occurs due to viral infection. It can be caused by many types of viruses. The symptoms observed when a person contracts encephalitis are cold and stomach infection. When the case is severe, the following symptoms are observed
• Mild headache
• Poor appetite and weakness
• Fever but not very high
