High Blood Pressure
High Blood Pressure is a measurement of the force against the wall of the arteries when the heart pumps blood throughout the body. High blood pressure is also known as hypertension. The top number is known as systolic blood pressure whereas the bottom number is known as diastolic blood pressure.
The major factors that are responsible for causing blood pressure are:
- In case a person has pre-hypertension, then he is prone to develop high blood pressure
- The amount of salt and water in the person’s body
- The condition of the nervous system, kidneys or blood vessels
