Juvenile Xanthogranuloma
Juvenile Xanthogranuloma is a dermatologic disorder associated with systematic manifestations. This is affected mostly in infants and children during the first two years. This is a lesion that may be single or many that will be firm and small appears to be in red or yellow in color. They will be also in tan-orange color and appears on the head and neck or upper trunk areas. Juvenile Xanthogranuloma may be treated by radiotherapy, pharmacotherapy and sometimes surgery too. Surgery is for lesions which involves less than one quadrant. Medication includes oral, topical or intralesional corticosteroids that are used in ocular JXG.
