Leydig Cell

 

Leydig Cell tumor is a part of the sex cord stromal tumor group of testicular and ovarian cancers. It occurs mostly for young adults. This is commonly found in men at the age of 5-10 and 30-60 years. The common symptoms include enlargement or change in the testicle, development of breast tissue, swelling or lump in the testicle, pain or discomfort in the testicle, pain the lower back or abdomen. Treatment for Leydig Cell depends on to the severity. Surgery is done to remove the kymph nodes or the testicle. Chemotherapy is the commonly used treatment for Leydig Cell cancer.
