Oral Cancer
It is part of a group of cancers of head and neck cancers. Mainly the growth of the cancerous tissue is located in the oral cavity. Other sites include gingiva, palate and cheek lining. This cancer belongs to the malignant types. Early signs of the cancer can be a white or red patch on soft tissues of the mouth. Chewing problems, discomfort in swallowing, mouth sores and swollen lymph nodes are some of the other symptoms. Main cause is still unknown to the doctors. Tobacco chewing and alcohol are the major cause of almost all oral cancers. Surgery is recommended by most of the physicians.
