Pelvic Lipomatosis
Pelvic lipomatosis is a condition where benign fatty growths take place in the pelvic area. This disorder mainly occurs in hypertensive, obese black males in their old age. The disorder’s main symptoms are associated with the compression of different genitourinary organs by the fatty mass.Pelvis lipomatosis shows symptoms similar to that of the symptoms from urinary tract infection. The symptoms include frequent urination, suprapubic tenderness, flankness, lower back pain, fever and recurrent UTI’s. The other symptoms include constipation, hematuria, nocturia, rectal bleeding, dysuria, ribbon-like stools along with mucus, tenesmus and edema in the lower parts of the body and legs.
