Periorbital Cellulitis Disease

 

The common infection of the eyelids usually happens from the spread of infection on the upper respiratory region, ocular infection or stress on the eyelids. This infection is termed as Periorbital Cellulitis. This infection has been found to be most ordinary in children who are under the age of 6. This infection can be caused as a result of another infection spreading from its specified region. It can also be caused due to minor trauma on the area surrounding the eye. The most common symptom of this type of Cellulitis is the reddening of the eyelids along with the surrounding area. But this disease does not limit the movements of the eyeball or get them protruded.
