Skeletal Dysplasia or dwarfism is generally defined as congenital abnormalities of the cartilages and bones which results to an abnormal short structure. It mainly affects the height but there are other abnormalities as waddling gait, short truck, arms and bowlegs, extra large head, extra finger, abnormal nails on the toes, narrow thorax and chest that is shaped like a pear. This is normally a disorder caused by the genetic mutation or the defect of the protein.
