Small Cell Lung

When there is a rapid growth of the cells of the lung without any control then it is termed as Small Cell Lung cancer. This is a fatal cancer and causes the death in most cases. This type of cancer grows and spreads very rapidly. This cancer responds very quickly to chemotherapy & Radiotherapy. This cancer is associated with symptoms that can result to tumor. Tobacco smoking is the root cause of the cancer. People who are associated with Uranium mining are also prone to this cancer as the person is exposed to radon, an inert gas released due to uranium decay.
